Our cabling division does installations of network infrastructures using all types of media and devices. We have technicians who have had networking training in South Africa, Kenya and India by Molex, Krone and Panduit. We know and apply the IEEE, TIA and EIA network cabling standards and follow them strictly.

Network equipment Configuration & Installation

We do not just stop at cabling. We even supply, install and configure manageable active network equipment such as switches, routers and firewalls just to mention a few. We have a number of Cisco Certified members of staff who are experienced in network operating systems. The expertise extends to operating systems of both personal computers and servers. We have expertise in all major operating systems like Windows, MacOS, Linux, Unix, Windows Server and virtualization software like VMWare.

Network project management, testing, verification

We do offer project management services for networks, where other companies, other than ourselves, are installing.

We do also carry out installation checks and verification on behalf of our clients. We have all the necessary testing tools and equipment for this type of work.

Internet and vpn connectivity

ICT Networks (2009) Limited offers internet connectivity solutions in partnership with other service providers in order to provide a turnkey solution to customers. ICT Networks has an ISP License from MACRA which enables it to provide such services.

Wide area network (WAN) installations

We provide remote office connectivity solutions in the form of Wide Area Networks (using routers or layer-3 switches).

ICT Networks (2009) Limited is a Select Certified Partner for CISCO SYSTEMS. Cisco Systems is the world’s biggest and best manufacturer of network hardware specifically routers, which are used in Wide Area Networks.

IP telephony systems

ICT Networks (2009) Limited supplies and installs IP Telephony Systems, being IP PABXs, IP Phones and also IP Video Conferencing Systems. of the brand CISCO, Grandstream and 3CX.

IP video surveillance systems (cctv)

ICT Networks (2009) Limited supplies and installs IP Video Surveillance Systems of the brand UNV (formerly Uniview). UNV has a broad range of cameras and Network Video Recorders (NVR) for any size and application ranging from 4-channel to 128-channel.

Access control systems (card and biometric)

ICT Networks (2009) Limited is a certified installer and dealer of IMPRO Access Control Systems. Impro is a South African manufacturer of high-quality and robust access control systems that are based on the IP communication protocol.

ICT Networks (2009) Limited is a preferred partner for Dimension Data Pty Ltd (since 2005), one of the world’s largest Network Solutions Integrators. Under this Preferred Partnership Program (PPP), ICT Networks Limited installs and supports systems on behalf of Dimension Data to local offices of its global customers like Old Mutual, Nedbank, Lafarge, Monsanto, AECI and Standard Bank.

ICT Networks (2009) Limited supplies various networking materials and equipment to customers who prefer to install on their own. Such equipment includes Category 6 UTP Cables, Fibre cables, Network Cabinets, Fly Leads, Patch Leads, RJ45 Sockets, Patch Panels, Switches, Routers, Media Converters, Wireless Access Points and many other networking items. In addition, ICT Networks, by demand, is able to supply Lenovo Desktops, Laptops and Servers.

Network consultancy & design

We look at the business needs of our clients, in terms of computer, telephony, surveillance and access control infrastructure and provide them with cost-effective connectivity solutions.

We carry out surveys and produce network designs that can be used with any brand or model of equipment.

Supply and installation of servers

Due to demand from our clients and a drive from our major vendor, Cisco, ICT Networks is now providing total datacenter computing hardware solutions. A whole range of rackmount and blade servers from Cisco can be supplied by ICT Networks. The Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) range of servers are now a major line of products supplied and supported by ICT Networks under its Cisco Select Certified Partner status.

To complement its portfolio in the datacenter technologies, ICT Networks is an authorized dealer of NetApp. NetApp is a leader in data storage solutions and it integrates well with Cisco UCS platforms. The two companies have an alliance which brings a combine product of Cisco Blade Servers, NetApp Storage and VMWare called FLEXPOD. ICT Networks supplied and supports FlexPod.
